  1. Bulk Clone Part of the Structure

This is becoming a necessity as we move forward with Structure. In order for all users to easily make copies of sets of issues from a repository-type structure at different points in their structure, we need bulk clone. The current copy/clone process requires admin authority and too many steps to roll out to non-admins and expect the environment to stay clean.

  3. Strikethrough on closed or resolved issue

A closed or resolved issue should have have a "strikethrough" on the summary.

  4. improve "templates" functionality and provide simple interface to work with it

    1. That's will be useful to have a possibility to create structure by one click.
Ex. It could be a quick button (as jira has "+ Create issue" at the right top conner). When I click on it, I can choose template name & click create. That's all.

    2. Sub-tickets in template structure should be predefined, so I don't want to specify each time what project it should be and what options to copy.

    3. In existing structure that's will be nice to have a possibility to create tickets\sub-tickets using templates for issue. Ex. I want to have a possibility to easy create…

  6. Support 3+ Multi-Cascading Selects

Automation + Grouping on Multi-Cascading Select fields is a top-notch function that allows users to efficiently organize complex datasets, but are functionally limited to deeper organizations.

If I start using the Jira-system 2-tiered multi-cascading select field in Structure for my issues, but then decide I need to switch to a 3-tiered mutli-cascading select to model my data, I sacrifice the functionality of Structure for the flexibility of another add-on.

Including support in Structure for n+ Multi-Cascading Selects, e.g iDalko's multi-select field (using MySQL), would help users like myself fully harness the capabilities of automated issue structures

  7. Have some kind of integration with zephyr to manage test cases

I would like to see which test are passed and failed. It would also be nice to see the defects or bugs in the structure and create my test cycles with a structure.

  8. expose a structure's "order" so JQL queries and filters can be created to list issues in that order.

The order's created would be very handy to be able to query in JQL - something like: project = MARSCOLONY AND assignee = "cosmonaut" ORDER BY "taskorder1-structure" ASC

This would allow exposing structures in Confluence and other places in a useful way.

Not sure what to do about different levels, but initially just ignore issues that aren't at the top level?

  9. notes

To fully take advantage of the new Notes field it would be really nice to make it independent of the issues to which it is added. As it works now, if a structure contains a multiple of the same issue and a note is added this note is attached to all of these issues.

Separating this is actually the only thing left to be able to use the structure plugin as a product structure documenting an entire product portfolio. One issue for each part and the notes field (renamed "Qty" or similar) to hold the amount of parts of the…

  10. Structure Filter improvement: project without structure enable need a hint from the plugin

When use a JQL with project field and the project have no flag to support structure show a hint warning the user that needs to enable the support to structure, or will be excellent to choose to enable it.
The current implementation only shows no search results.
The uses get confused and don't know if the plugin is working or they are doing some misconfiguration.

  11. Allow referencing a formula based Structure column within S-JQL expression

Currently, I can only refer real fields of a JIRA issue within S-JQL function structureQuery parameter.

Example: "issue in structure("Planned Stories", "issueOrAncestor in [type = Epic and status = Open]")"

But it will be absurdly powerful if I could refer to a formula based Structure column values, existing in a selected View in e.g. such way:

issue in structure("Planned Stories Structure","Planned Stories View", "issueOrAncestor in [type = Epic and 'Adjusted Storypoints' > 'Planned StoryPoints']")

  13. offer a way to save your column widths with a view and with the perspective view.

Our users will customize their view, setting the column widths in a way that allows them to best see the data in the view. While Structure does a great job of preserving this, in their session, there is no way to save the column widths, either in a saved view or in the "perspective view", from the Share button. Our users would like to share these adjusted column widths with other members of their team.

  14. Support hierarchy of projects

Can I display a hierarchy of projects? I have a project x that is a sub project of a, b, c. Is this possible?

  16. Send to top/send to bottom

I miss the "Send to Top" and "Send to Bottom" functionality that is in the context menu on Agile boards. I learned how to cut/paste to move tickets but that is a lot of clicks and scrolling for a common (for me) action.
I saw a comment from Igor in another suggestion to open a new panel with the same structure, and drag the ticket to the top/bottom of the new panel. I tried to do this and I got this error "Cannot move issues inside JQL query result."
I'm still feeling my way around structure so maybe I'm doing…

  17. Export to Google Sheets

Make it possible to directly export a structure into Google Sheets. It will save one step converting an Excel file into Google Sheets.

  18. When I change the query (the Find field), I would like the URL to be updated accordingly.

So that I can restore the state of the view from browser history (using back button etc.).

  19. Can Structure use Portfolio Data

Structure would be a great supplement to the information provided by Portfolio. It would be great if this data could be used by Structure ... perhaps even have a Portfolio Structure Template?

  20. Reinstate search on the issue page

In Structure 3, search and filtering functionality was removed from the issue page. But sometimes we need that to rearrange structure without leaving a specific issue.

    More feedback:

But with the loss of the toolbar we can no longer filter or search the structure from the issue view.

We frequently need to unpin, search then re-org the structure, and we like to do it from the issue view. At my work we are considering rolling back to 2.x to get the search/filter feature back on the issue view.
