  2. Create shortcut key for setting tasks on Resolved

A shortcut to set a task on resolved would be appreciated.

  3. Add progress aggregation based on the number of sub-items

Parent issue progress % seems incorrect based on underlying children progress % values, assuming equal weighting per child.

  4. Enable use of existing, saved filters to populate a structure vs. having to manually enter filter criteria

Use case: I have an existing filter that is the basis for a board. The board dynamically updates, whenever I change the criteria of the filter upon which the board is based. However, if I want to use that same existing filter with a Structure, I must replicate the criteria in structure, and then perform dual maintenance, whenever I want to change filter criteria. If the saved filter could be used by Structure, I would only have to modify the filter itself. This might be addressed in the process of solving the following existing idea:

  5. Allow multiple simultaneous updates

The edit capability in the table view is very helpful but even more helpful would be ability to update multiple fields and/or multiple issues. Is copy a row or column or table from Excel into structure table.

  6. Use JIRA Structure as navigation tree on linked Confluence content

JIRA & Confluence are often used hand-in-hand... e.g. new ideas are formulated on CFL, leading to linked tasks in JIRA & followed by documentation etc.. on Confluence again..

The need to reorder issues in JIRA, & use structure to navigate them, can be projected to linked confluence contents as well.

The way i see it, structure widget could replace the space navigation panel.

JIRA issues & corresponding Confluence pages could be linked via labeling (value == structure item ID)

This is the idea in a nutshell, I'd be happy to discuss in more detail if helpful.

  7. Require the user to confirm a deletion of an issue before it is removed from the structure.

Require the user to confirm a deletion of an issue before it is removed from the structure. Right now there is a message that an issue has been deleted, but my users aren't noticing the message. Need to make them verify the deletion before it will occur.

  8. Granular control over Automation grouping, particularly with Labels

Currently, grouping within Automation is kind of an "all or nothing" approach. For example, we use labels to identify which "product" our epics are for, but we also use the Labels field to track other information. For our main Structure, what we want to do is have the Automation grouping only look at the 6 labels we currently use for "product" tracking and ignore all of the others, but I cannot seem to find a way to do this without manually creating my own folders and setting up the Automation for each one; the drawback to this is we can't…

  9. Expand Editing from Gadget

Please add the ability to edit more fields especially custom fields from the Gadget (https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Editing+from+Gadget). The ability to edit custom numeric fields via jira dashboards/confluence pages would be awesome!

  11. Feedback on Learning About Structures

I'm a product manager and have a technical background, but pretty much had to figure out how structures work using trial and error. I gave up the first few times I tried to build one because I just didn't get what was going on.

It wasn't until I had a need to look at data across teams in a specific way, that without a structure, would have resulted in a ton of duplicated effort in Excel, that I forced myself to figure out how they work. At that point, I also discovered the formula columns and found that documentation to…

  12. start date

As a team lead, I want the Gantt view to show all unresolved issues as starting in the future irrespective of the view's "start date", so I can quickly visualise dependencies between teams that will impact their next sprint

  13. Have option to customize or hide what buttons are shown

Trying to get users to update information who are less familiar with Jira. Want to customize what options/buttons users see so it's less overwhelming.

  14. Report or filter on accumulated fields

FIelds like 'progress', 'estimate' or 'logged' are calculated (accumulated) over the sub-structure under the issue. I would like to be able to report those values in reports (e.g. accumulated estimate) or use them in JQL queries (e.g. accumulated_estimate > 2w)

  15. Progress by status category

Currently progress by status is supported(among other statuses).

To simplify configuration in complicated jira setups it would be nice if one could filter by status category. Instead or in combination.

  16. removing a column sort is not easy. Make it simple.

Structure is sorted by Rank (through automation). I often click on Assignee column to sort by it. The only way to remove the sort is to click Transformation, Click the sort and click the remove. This is way too many steps to just remove a sort. One idea is to have each column have 3 states when clicked. Sort Ascending, Sort descending, Remove sort.

  17. Ability to hide the time line in the gantt chart view

It is a widely adopted practice to not share specific dates in long term planning and it would therefore be helpful if I could hide the dates/timeline in the gantt view.

The only option today is to zoom out but that is not practical as the feature-bars will become to small and the timeline is still visible but in years.

I want to be able to show how feature A is scheduled before Feature B and that it is dependent upon Feature C being completed without having to show when the features will be worked upon.

    Simply hiding, or making…

  18. Use the standard Atlassian User Interface objects

I would suggest you to resort exclusively to the AUI objects for your interface instead of your custom ones that clearly gives the impression that you are exiting the Jira world to step into another one.
I think you user would deserve a smoother user experience, with the same kind of buttons, icons, tables to which they are already used to. I'm especially talking about the transformation/filters features that should be improved in that direction to my mind. Thanks for you great achievement!

  19. Automatically clear multi-selection after a move/paste operation is completed.

The structure plug-in allows users to select multiple, dis-contiguous issues using the multi-select mode, whereby the user clicks on the little radio button next to every issue they want to select. The selection can then be operated on as a whole, for example, to reposition the issues in the structure.

This feature works great, however, I find it annoying because the selection 'sticks', even after I've completed the operation I wanted to perform. Then, when I move onto select other issues, the previous ones, which are still selected, unintentionally come along for the ride.

    Let me provide a use-case. Assume…

  20. Propagate Due Date

Allow users to set due date based on due date of parent and estimated time. Plus when due date of parent is changed propagate change to all child issues accordingly
