Structure for JIRA: Ideas

  1. show linked issues based on an automation rule

    I'd like to add a few top-level issues and then see all other issues that are linked to those top ones via a specific issue link type

  2. Allow Epic extensions in a NextGen project since it's not currently supported

    NextGen doesn't allow for epic extensions - can you provide this?

  3. Folder Item Count

    I would like to see the number of items I have in a folder without having to manually count them each time. For example, if my folder was named 'Bugs', then maybe it would display as

  4. Present a warning or confirmation dialog box prior to removing a generator from a structure

    There is no undo for accidental deletion of generators or folders.
    If you accidentally delete a root folder - you can lose everything!

  5. Be GDPR Compliant

    I need Structure Cloud to be GDPR compliant. I use structure heavily, but my company will stop using structure because it is not GDPR compliant.

    Could you please share a little bit more details about what makes you think that Structure is not GDPR compliant?

  6. remember (de-)collapse state of structure section within the issue view

    Currently when switching to another issue the structure section is always open. Also when I collapsed the section before. This is not the standard behavior within JIRA for collapsed sections which normally is remembered for the user.

  7. Record structure history

    Keep the history of structure changes so it's possible to trace back who placed an issue at a specific position and where it were before.

  8. selecting of multiple issues at once

    Being able to select more than one issue at at a time so I can drag and drop quicker would be very helpful

  9. Add comment from Structure widget without page reload

    Title was: Page reload after creating a new items should preferably be faster when working over slow speed connections

    I sometimes work on my IPAD over slow speed link and the update of the page after creating a new item is quite long

  10. Make the "Structure" entity available for JQL Queries

    So that I can easily create filters in other parts of Jira. For example: I have a Structure called "Widget 1.3" which included Jira items from multiple projects. It would be nice to be able to write a JQL query like Structure = "Widget 1.3", and it would grab all the Jira items in the Structure.

  11. a button in the tool bar to "show only my issues"

    one of the most useful quick filters in Greenhopper is the "show only my issues" filter. It would be fantastic if Structure had this top level quick filter in its toolbar as well.

  12. Provide a Gantt Gadget Timeline View

    It would be great to embed the gantt view inside a Confluence page as a timeline view.

    This feature is now available as a part of Structure.Gantt 1.2.0 release.

  13. Allow choosing Monday as first day of the week

    I should be able to choose Monday as the first day of the week in the Gantt chart. Personal setting at the very least, tho it might make sense to have a configurable default on some level.

  14. save spacing settings for key, summary, etc.

    You can adjust them to make them legible, but refreshing sets it to default. Otherwise just make the Issue Type and Priority much smaller.

  16. Enable the deletion of structures

    Would be nice to be able to delete structures from the Structure dropdown list in the top nav. It gets pretty cluttered up there, especially with system-generated structure names. Would be nice to get rid of ones you no longer want.

  17. On Issue View, automatically switch to the first structure that the viewed issue belongs to

    Currently the last viewed structure is displayed. Have a user option which would make Structure panel automatically switch to the first available structure with the issue.

  18. show its right-arrows and down-arrows in IE browser

    Not that I would normally use IE but I discovered the right and down arrows to the left of issues do not show up in the structure hierarchy views. Fairly recent IE like 8 or something.

  19. Synchronizer enable/disable switch

    I'd like to be able to turn individual synchronizers on and off so that I can deactivate syncing and manually sync when needed without having to delete the synchronizer and lose my configuration.
