In Confluence gadget, specify the top issue to view for the selected structure
So, if I had:
ISS-1
- ISS-2
-- ISS-3
-- ISS-4
- ISS-5
-- ISS-6
The result of specifying ISS-2 as the top-view issue for the structure (similar to pinning ISS-2) is that only this tree would be visible in the Confluence Gadget:
ISS-2
- ISS-3
- ISS-4
Released in Structure 3.5
-
Starting with Structure 3.5, this can be done with S-JQL filter
"issue or descendant of ABC-123"
Where ABC-123 is the top level item.

Sergey, thanks - that's a neat idea!

I vote for implementing http://structure.uservoice.com/forums/43181-structure-plugin-for-jira-ideas/suggestions/5948589-enter-jql-instead-of-a-filter-in-confluence-struct
and using S-JQL in filter like:
childs of [key = ISS-2]

Benjamin, thanks for the idea - it does make sense.
Right now you can use a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+.) to pin an issue in a gadget, but that would be remembered only by your browser, not shared.
