    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

Thank you, Igor. Structure is such a great tool and it gets better with every release. I'm looking forward to the next one :-)

We have a similar setup. The epics are created and estimated before the stories are available. The initial estimate is stored as original estimate in the epic. once the stories are created and estimated, the remaining estimate of the epic has to be reduced accordingly.

In the structure we have the stories under the epic and two columns (original estimate, sum remaining estimate). Like that we still have the original estimate of the epic, the true remaining estimate of the stories (plus a buffer on the epic if not all stories are added at the same time)

With Version 4.0 of Structure it is possible to have a special formula column that only shows the original estimate of the epic. Using Original Estimate, sum remaining estimate and the time spent we can even simply identify epics that are ahead or behind the initial plan.

However, the idea Stefan suggested would be a clean version for story points.
