let the creation of a structure be "templatable"
For a "new Feature" issue I always have the same structure: draw architecture, add/modify interfaces, implementation, qa, going live...
How about a Feature to "add a structure by template" that would generate the defined Issues and append the newly created issues as a structure to the current issue.
Delivered in Structure 2.0 – see release notes at https://wiki.almworks.com/x/9Aqf

Andreas - the templating / bulk clone is not there yet. Please stay tuned!
Hm... I wonder why this idea is marked as "completed", obviously wishful thinking. We'll have it done in a few versions to come.

...but the copied tasks do have the "key" from the original structure. so the template idea is not solved completly, or am i wrong?

Yes, please go ahead.
Well, the comment-notification was deactivated, so I got no notifications. Now that I enabled it everything is fine. I am unsure if it was deactivated by default (most likely) or if I deaktivated it when I signed on

Nils - no problem, thanks for replying. Glad to hear copy&paste would work, I will close this ticket then.
(Just to make sure UserVoice works correctly: it is supposed to send e-mail notifications when someone comments on an idea you've posted - do you receive e-mail notifications? Sorry for asking, this is just to make sure other people get the notifications from UserVoice too. )

Igor - sorry for commenting so late.
Yes that would definitely work! -
Thanks for the idea! We'll have to gather more votes and use cases to plan this feature, because there might be quite different requirements.
What we're going to do in the near future is "Copy-Paste", which you could use to clone a sub-tree of issues. So you can set up a template project, create a typical structure for a New Feature there, and just use Copy-Paste to create a clone of the template under a specific issue.
What do you think, would that work?
