That JQL button needs to be more visible!
Folks who are new to Structure can't tell what that JQL button is set to. The faint red border is no readily visible. They get confused as to which search mode is active.
This suggestion has been implemented in Structure 3.0! Note that Structure 3 has a lot of changes, check out release notes: https://wiki.almworks.com/x/5gquAQ

There's an intermediate solution in version 2.5 - I'm not yet closing this request, but the button should be more visible.

Martin, thanks for your comment - yes, true, we're planning to revamp the whole "search" panel. Hopefully in one of the releases coming soon.

Totally true. I thought the field meant "this is jql" and didn't try clicking on it to enable JQL.
A diagonal strikethrough or something else needs to be through the button to indicate JQL syntax is off.

Agreed, we need to revisit the design of the Search panel. By the way, *red* border means you've got invalid JQL, while *blue* border means JQL looks ok.
