Use filter to automatically add/delete children of a Structure
Say I have a Feature1, and I created a "Outstanding Feature1 Bugs" structure. I also create a "Outstanding Feature1 Bugs" filter which shows bugs in status other than Resolved nor Closed. I want to assign the filter to the structure so when I look at the structure, I only see the results of the filter. As bugs get resolved and closed, they get taken away from the structure automatically. Make sense?
can be done with Saved Filter Synchronizer

Chris, thanks for following up. Glad you managed to solve this with the existing features!

Please ignore my last comment. I was able to do what I wanted to do with the save filter feature where I can make a JIRA issue a sub-issue of one of the JIRA issues I have in the structure. IOW I have this
Top Structure
- JIRA Epic for Feature1
---- Filter with "Feature1" in summary
- JIRA Epic for Feature2
---- Filter with "Feature2" in summary -

Ok I tried thsi it works. Can I have a Structure as a sub-level of an existing Structure? IOW, I need/want to do this:
Top Structure
- Structure 1
---- Issues under Structure1 synchronized by Filter1
- Structure 2
---- Issues under Structure2 synchronized by Filter2 -

I looked into the "Saved Filter Synchronized" feature, that may be the ticket.

Chris, thanks for your idea. Does "Saved Filter Synchronizer" solve this? http://wiki.almworks.com/x/mQBg
If not, please suggest how it could have worked differently.
Thanks!

In other words, I wan to dynamically create the structure based on the results of the filter. As Feature1 bugs get opened, they become part of the structure; as Feature1 bugs get resolved and closed, they are no longer part of the structure.
