user defined rank attribute
Create an attribute "Rank" to allow a user to manually order stories.
Use case: I want to prioritise stories for a given release. e.g. I have 20 stories and want to rank them 1-20.
Benefits:
- the ranking is more transparent to a larger audience than the ability to move stories on screen
- if another user changes the order I can see what was changed

Hi Julia, could you provide an update on the feasibility of my request please?

Hi Julia, yes, this could work. In addition though, I would need to see a history of the index, on a structure level. Is it possible to see all index changes within a structure? There is partial info via the activity for an individual item, but not across the whole structure.

Hi Tom,
Thank you for your request! Am I right, what you want to see the position of the task in Structure? If yes, will our Sequential Index help https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Sequential+Index+Column?
Also, we have integration with Agile Boards, so it you use rank there, you can sort by this field in Structure.Julia,
ALM Works team.
