Show Which Columns Have Been Edited Before You Revert
As a product manager editing a structure view that is being used by other people on my team, I want an indicator to show me which columns will be removed if I revert changes to the view, so that I can experiment with changes to a view and feel confident that I know which columns will be discarded when I revert changes.
This would be especially helpful for formula columns, as it can be time consuming to create them, and I want to feel confident I'm not going to lose work if I revert changes. It will also help me avoid having to create a separate version of a view to ensure I don't lose any work, and then recreate the columns in the view that is being used my team.

Hi Todd, thanks for the idea! We'll discuss this internally.
In the meantime - we're thinkning of introducing a new feature called Formula Library - you'll be able to save formulas regardless of views. This will also allow you re-using same formulas in other structures.
So when you enter a formula - before applying or reverting the view you could save it. And if you didn't like the result you'd be able to choose the old one from the library.
Do you think this will alleviate your pain?
