Be able to Receive a notification when an item is manually added to a structure folder and/or it's sub-folders. That way when someone adds an item or removes one to an existing structure folder, anyone subscribed to notifications for that folder would get an email notification. to implement, just add a button to the button bar when the folder is selected and when you click the button, you get a popup with an option to subscribe to notifications like you do with issues in JIRA.
Obviously, this would only be available for folders WITHOUT automation.

Hi Igor,
Yes, I was only thinking of items manually added. Think of this user story:
"As a PM, when a team member adds a story to the structure for a release, I want to be notified so that I can keep on top of our scope and make sure we don't get scope creep"Digests would be ok. And in an ideal world, there would be a "Subscribe to notifications on manual additions to structure option for a user with the choices: "None", "Periodic Digest" (with choice of number of days in the period), "Immediately".
Thanks,
Cash

Hi Cash,
Thanks for your suggestion! I apologize for replying so late; ironically, a notification from uservoice got lost in the way!
This does make a lot of sense. There are some technical details -- as you mentioned, this wouldn't work with generated content (unless there's an active component that, say, checks and compares generated content once a day).
I also imagine this would require digest mode from notifications and, therefore, some delay, because otherwise one might get a load of emails from a busy structure.
Kind regards,
Igor
