This suggestion has been implemented in Structure 3.0! Note that Structure 3 has a lot of changes, check out release notes: https://wiki.almworks.com/x/5gquAQ

Thanks for your comments - no ETA yet, but look out for Structure 3.0. We keep this request in mind. -- Igor

We could use this as well, for precisely the same reasons. have a parent issue (work on issue x and issue y) but both of have similar sub-issues. So copy all the sub issues from issue x to issue y. Do you have an updated ETA.

We could use this as well. Within one structure we have many feature level items. Within those features, I have a test plan. To be able to copy the tasks, test cases, etc that are standard for each feature, would save a good amount of time. So we need a portion of the structure to copy and paste within the same structure, not an entire structure.

Yep, thanks. This will be part of a larger feature.

Hi Igor,
More like, inside a structure, copy the "parent issue + clone sub item issues" for placement elsewhere in the same structure.
David.

Thanks David - got it. We also have a similar idea in plans, described here: http://structure.uservoice.com/forums/43181-structure-plugin-for-jira-ideas/suggestions/1937203
In both cases, the functionality can be described as "copy structure + clone issues". Is this what you're looking for?

Hi Igor - thanks for the swift response. The Answer is No. An example of how we use structure would be to create two parent issues and then under the first parent create 10 sub issues. We would like to be able to copy the 10 sub issues and paste them under the second parent as different issues rather than having to create them all individually again.

Thanks David - is it the same as "having the same issue in multiple places in a structure"? http://structure.uservoice.com/forums/43181-structure-plugin-for-jira-ideas/suggestions/2329637
