Be able to show sum of "unresolved story points" and other number fields
Since I can have a progress bar weighted by story points and a column that can show the sum of story points - can we add a column that shows the sum of story points that aren't resolved (that is, if a ticket is resolved, it counts as zero - otherwise, add up the story points). I would think this probably apply to other number/summable columns.
This would really help our tracking view to see that some Epic has 45 story points not resolved out of 90 total story points.
(Apologies if this already exists - I can't figure out how to do it.)
This suggestion has been implemented in Structure 3.0! Can be done via “After filter” option and adding an unresolved filter.
Note that Structure 3 has a lot of changes, check out release notes: https://wiki.almworks.com/x/5gquAQ

Is there a way to see a total of the unresolved in a column without having to filter everything? For example, I'd like to see the following:
Total Progress %, Total Story Points, Remaining Open (Unresolved Story Points).I'm able to select After-Filtering to get the unresolved but it also filters my Total Progress. I also have to turn off automation to do this. Any advice would be great. I'd like to be able to show these in the Structure Gadget via confluence too. Thank you!

Hi Igor,
Thanks for your reply.
I am writing this for Status Roll up of Parent issue while changing the status of its child.
We have a jira workflow, in that there are eight status like Open, In Progress, Resolved etc. Now my question is, how many combination of synchronizer will have to write for eight different status of parent issue?
and can you please share your email id so I can directly mail you with some screen shot of workflow to understand in a better way?
Thanks

Hi Manzoor Alam,
Yes, you can, but you need to place all items that you sum up under another item. In Structure 2.x, you can create a pseudo-issue (say, named "Total"), and place all other issues under it. You also need to configure the columns to display the sum, obviously.
In Structure 3, you will be able to create a folder - so no need for pseudo-issues.
Hope this helps!

Hello Peter,
Thanks for your idea. We'll have this functionality in Structure 3.0, where a sum (or other aggregate column like Progress) may be configured to apply "before filtering" or "after filtering". So you can turn on a filter - like "Unresolved" button - and see the numbers after the filtering.
Would that fit your needs?
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Igor
