  1. Have default columns configurable by the administrator.

    The initial column set for structure is fixed for board, issue and gadget to be the same. It would be nice to be able to change the default configuration to something other than out of the box. It would be even nicer to be able to configure a default for each place a structure is displayed (board, issue, gadget). A simple mgmt interface would be need to configure it and a storage mechanism.

  2. Allow a structure to be deactivated

    Once a project is complete, I'd like to be able to mark the associated structure as inactive so that it no longer shows in the drop-down menu on the Structure tab. I could do this by deleting the structure, but I'd like to be able to save it in an "archive" state so that I can view it for historical/reference purposes. I could also do this by backing it up and then deleting it, but it would be nice if it could be done with just an attribute on the structure.

    LInks synchronization done in 0.4. Quick steps: open “Manage Structures”, click “Settings” in Synchronization column and add “Issue Links” synchronizer. Make sure to read through warning messages.

    This does not cover GH interoperability (Epic/Theme is a label, not a link, isn’t it?) and it doesn’t address creating an issue of different Type – it’s a different improvement, also planned.

  4. Allow modification of Jira issues order/links in directly in Structure for Cloud

    Currently when using automation to bring in issues and show the linked status they is no ability to update order or the link between other issues. Ideally issues could be reordered to identify priority or possibly even have their links modified when dragged to other hierarchies (similar to the status being changes when dragged on a KanBan Board)

  5. In Confluence gadget, specify the top issue to view for the selected structure

    So, if I had:

    ISS-1
    - ISS-2
    -- ISS-3
    -- ISS-4
    - ISS-5
    -- ISS-6

    The result of specifying ISS-2 as the top-view issue for the structure (similar to pinning ISS-2) is that only this tree would be visible in the Confluence Gadget:

    ISS-2
    - ISS-3
    - ISS-4

  7. Use columns (list and order) from JIRA filter

    In JIRA I can set list of columns and order for each filter. Structure plugin can use filter result for view in Structure - it's greate! But it does not use columns setting of filter... :(

    If I have some different project type I need to have different view for each type - filter settings provide me this possibility. I need to have different settings of columns set in Structure too.

  9. have a preview pane for viewing issue details.

    When I am looking through the structure I'd like to have an optional small preview pane at the bottom of my screen that will show me additional information about the issue. I would use this preview pane for inspecting the details of issues in my search results before adding them to my structure. Without this feature I find myself opening multiple browser windows and displaying them side-by-side.

  10. Have a bulk edit function

    It would be nice if you go into bulk mode and then click the edit button that you get taken to the jira bulk editor.

  12. Have a way to show Release and Sprint parent level in the structure

    I couldn't find my way to do that so I am guessing it is not yet available.

    Trying to use Structure to show a Plan of the activities in an Agile/Iterative way, I am expecting that my full Project/Product Plan would show the different Releases, each one with their Sprints and underneath the collection of issue types that relates to the Sprint.

    Today I can create an issue type and name it Sprint X and indent all the issue types from a defined Sprint but Jira uses Release and Sprint already in the Agile Board. Unfortunately, these are not issue…

  13. Define additional Fields to aggregate Information (number Fields), e.g. suggested revenue

    We use structure for many purposes like:
    Artifact Structures (Epic, Story, Reqs) oder product based views on many projects. So it would be very useful if one can define a field in a strcuture, that ist aggregated to its parents (if possible) likewise the time aggregation.
    There could be a Aggregate Field be defined, that uses the Value(numbered) from a custom field and aggregates it to the parent with options for the aggregates (sum, avg, max,min)

  14. Provide API for creating and managing hierarchy

    The API could be used to integrate JIRA+H4J with Microsoft Project, or enhance the existing connectors.

    Also, the standard APIs could be supplemented by hierarchy-specific fields and methods.

  15. Add a resource allocation report

    Structure plugin is a neat way to build the projects Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
    It would be a nice feature to see an aggregated view of the allocated resources per structure. The MS Project resource optimization functionality is not needed from my point of view in an agile environment. However an overview of the resource capacity utilization would be nice.

    It is now possible to see resource allocation with help of Structure.Gantt extension.

  16. Enter JQL instead of a filter in confluence structure gadget

    It would be great to enter JQL or S-JQL instead of only filters like in the jira-issues-macro. In this case you wouldn´t be forced to create a filter first before adding a structure to a page. In the dashboard-structure-gadget in jira it is possible to select "Advanced" options, but not in Confluence.

  17. Show Calculated Estimated and Remaining Times on Structure Board

    Currently, the Structure Board shows the Progress calculated from the roll-ups of the estimated times and remaining times, these should also be available as columns in the board.

  18. perform operations on multi-selection lists

    In Structure there is the multi-selection capability but it seems like it has limited usefulness. For example, if I want to remove 10 issues from Structure I can't multi-select them and use the "remove" button at the top of the widget. Similar for other operations (indent, etc.). What would really be handy and a possible workaround would be a button that allowed multi-edit (simlar to the "Bulk Change" operation in the JIRA Filter View). A typical use case for this is wanting to update the "Fix Version" for a set of issues that have been deferred to a later relase…

    Hi there, Structure.Gantt for Cloud is available for some time already, we’re working hard to bring all of the On-Prem features to Cloud, please give it a try!

  20. Have columns that aggregate time information - total time spent, total estimate, etc

    The column would aggregate time fields upward and display time spent, original estimate and remaining estimate for issue and all its sub-issues. Also we can use the colored bars as in the Issue Navigator
