    thank you very much for wiki, they had the solution for our problem - so it was as you mentioned possible, I just needed a push in the right direction.

    will it be possible to have the fields which are mandatory listed in the dialog box upon creation.

    unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem, I get a Red exclamation mark with ex these values:

    description: Description is required.
    customfield_10707: Found in Build / Version is required

    are there a way to enter those fields upon subissue creation, or do we have to create the issue in Jira first and then drag it to a parent issue?

    correct me if Im wrong, but the only fields you can fill during sub issue creation are:
    Summary
    Project
    Issuetype
