It is a bit similar to the filter synchronizer.
An Example: We have Sub-Tasks which got cancelled and they need to get out of the structure. Otherwise they screw up summed up values. (I know we could erase the values from the cancelled sub-tasks, but they are needed for statistics/analytics and using history values doesn't work)
