  1. I should be able to create a "Structure Template" and choose while creating a new structure

    I want to create a structure. When I go from the menu, it shows me a "Select Template" pop window, where it shows me below templates.
    1. Empty Structure
    2. Backlog Structure
    3. Agile Structure
    4. Gantt Chart
    5. Agile Gantt Chart

    I want to create a customized template so that whole of my organization product groups use the same, instead of re-inventing in their own way. This will help my organization to build a standardize look and feel of structure and create ease of navigation.

    Please do let me know, it there is already s solution to it. Else…

  2. Need new "workload" view

    I would like to have the same functionality as InstaGantt has. The workload functionality is simple but genius.

    On the Structure side, the workload view is very limited and hard to use. you have manually filtered out the required people to view their workload. After page refresh the filter resets and you have to apply filters wor the specific people from the very beginning.

  3. Notes on folders or any other elements

    Could be nice be able to write descriptions/notes on folders and maybe other elements like groups. It would be a way to have a private environment for product owners to discuss about OKRs or any other thing on the panel

  4. Maintain version history of the custom views

    I use structure board on a daily basis and find it useful. I have multiple custom columns based on formulas. It would be great to have version history of the custom columns. If a formula column gets changed inadvertently and I want to revert back to the older version of the formula, right now, there is no option to do that.

  5. Identify null entries in a column without using formula columns

    We regularly use formula columns to display certain info so we can "flag" issues with no entry for that field (i.e. display "Needs Date" in red when date field is empty). The drawback to this is you can't just double click on the missing data in the formula column to edit it, rather having to go into the issue. It would be great if there was a way in any column in Structure to tell it to in some way flag issues with null entries that still keeps the editable functionality of that column; it would be ideal if it…

  6. Posibillity to shift more issues at once in the timeline

    Our organization would like to have a feature which would let us to move few issues at once. F.e.:
    Epic has issues inside. So if I move the Epic bar, all those issues inside epic would move the same. Like in Jira's Advanced Roadmaps

  7. A possibility to have scenarios in gantt.

    Our organization would like to have a possibility to perform changes in Gantt, check how those changes affect the resources, and decide to save them or not to save (and rollback to live view window).

  8. Vertical marker line in a gantt chart

    Our organization would like to have the possibility to create vertical markers in a Gantt chart. For example, I press on the timeline a popup appears, I write a description there and save it.

  9. Add ability to not count child items

    When the count of a group of items is summed I would like the child tasks (i.e. subtasks) to be excluded from the count.

  10. Reverse the order of the Epic column string

    I'm very pleased to see the addition of the Epic column. However, it presently is displayed with [Key]-[Epic Name].

    It would be more useful to see it displayed as [Epic Name]-[Key], or at least the option to select between the two.

  11. Have different permissions for the editing of values in columns and rearranging structure through drag and drop

    Instead of having one Edit permission, divide it into 2 different ones. By doing this, users that can edit values in columns cannot rearrange issues in the structure by mistake with the drag and drop feature.

    • Permissions to edit values in columns
    • Permissions to rearrange items in structure under group by automation (Change Epic,Rank,etc)

  12. All for better organization of Quick Transformations

    Love the Quick Transformations, but usually have quite a few that are all listed on the toolbar such that it takes up space and can be difficult to find the one that I need at the time. Would love to be able to group them such that selecting the group provides a drop down style dialog in which I can select the desired filter.

  13. Make Structure Gadget on Jira Dashboards visible to not-logged-in viewers

    Jira allows dashboards to be shared such that 'anyone on the web' can view the dashboard.
    However, Structure gadgets on such a dashboard do not load for not-logged-in users.
    Could the Structure Gadget be made visible, but limited, in that not-logged-in viewers cannot drill through into the issues, or Structure itself, without first logging in.

  14. Deeper hierarchy in issue types

    Our organization would like to have a possibility to create another tasks layer above Epics (like in Jira's advanced roadmaps). For example, I create a new issue type "Initiative" in Jira and then I can group in structure gantt all tasks in this hierarchy:
    Initiative>Epics>Stories, Tasks>Subtasks.

    Actually, that’s something Structure can already help you with!

    Structure allows creating hierarchies using existing relationships between issues in Jira. If there is a link between two issues, Structure can visualize the relationships in the parent-child form, putting one issue above the other.

    You just need to use standard Jira link functionality which is available in any Jira version by default – the ‘blocks’, ‘implements’, etc type of a link. You can configure them at Settings | issues | Issue linking and create links between issues using the Link option on any Issue Page.

    And once links exist between Initiative and Epics, then you can build your structure with the desired hierarchy the following way:

    1. Create a structure.
    2. Click Automation | + | Insert and type a JQL query to match all Initiatives that you want to add.
    3. Then click + | Extend | Linked Items and…

  15. Integrate Structure with the Easybi reporting tool

    Integrate with EasyBI such that reports can draw on Structure information. This should include the organizational aids (eg Folder names and positioning of issues) but also the calculated values.

  16. Change status sort order by their position on the statuses page

    Hi,

    currently statuses in cloud version are sorted by their:

    1. Status category
    2. Project (global statuses are shown above)
    3. Status ID (field id?)

    and as a Jira admin I'm unable to change the order.

    In server/DC version this feature is much more usable and I'm able to change the order which has huge impact on how we use Structure in planning.

  17. Add ability to edit name and rank of Version/Release

    Add ability to edit name and rank of a Version/Release from within structure. Right now that's not possible and it's very inconvenient to navigate to the project in scope to make this edit.

  18. Upgrade the Structure Cloud Manage Structures page

    There's a lot of whitespace and not a lot of function.
    * You could use more than 3 columns to show more information, e.g., the description and the permissions.
    * You could support more actions:
    ** Copy an existing structure - then you could copy and tweak instead of starting from scratch every time
    ** Support right-click on Open to open in a new tab

  19. Flag items in the structure

    Hello,
    I would like to be able to flag items in my structure tree view in the same way as I can on my JIRA Kanban board and JIRA Kanban backlog. The original Atlassian feature is described in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/flag-an-issue/

  20. Color quick transformation buttons to allow faster identification and categories

    Currently, when you add a quick transformation the buttons are all white/clear. When you have a large number, it can be hard to find the transformation your looking for.

    With colors, you could create visual categories (i.e. groupings, component filters, label filters, etc) and the user can navigate to them much faster.
