Open issues in Jira search view
It would be helpful if you could open a folder, sub-folder or a grouping, within your structure, in the Jira search view pre-populated with the issues in folder. This would allow you to easily share specific issues in your structure with relevant engineers so that they don't have to find the issues themselves within your structure.
Examples:
Create a sub-folder and insert issues using JQL. Open all the issues in that sub folder, in a Jira search view. From the Jira search, you can easily share with team members.3 votesThank you for the suggestion. As I understand, you want to share issues from the structure somehow, right?
There is the “Sharing a Perspective” feature in Structure for Jira On-Premise. It allows you to focus a specific folder or select some issues and share this view with others in the form of a permanent link.

It would be nice if you could change the colour for different types of links
Would it be possible to somehow recognize different types of links in the structure? e.g. add an icon for issues which are linked by "is blocked by" or change the colour of the blocking ticket.

Why would you need to recognize different link types in Structure? Do you have multiple Link Extenders on the same level? Could you please describe your structure a bit and what problem you are trying to solve?

Removal of manual location of individual issues
When an issue is shifted manually around in a generated hierarchy, it retrieves the "hand" symbol and the position seems to be memorized in an (invisible, structure internal) attribute. Sometimes this memorized position gets in conflict with updates generator rules etc. and I want to withdraw the manual relocation. But not for all relocated issues (which is possible) but only for individual ones.

be able to export to .xlsx (xlsx-Format, MS Excel 2016 and higher)
Our users like to export their structures to .xlsx to use the full functionality of modern Excel.

"Remove Inserter/Extender Duplicates" generator should also work for non-hierarchical duplicates
When using the "Remove Inserter/Extender Duplicates" generator also non-hierarchical duplicates, based on different used linkage types like "child-of" and "resolved by" should be removed.

user defined rank attribute
Create an attribute "Rank" to allow a user to manually order stories.
Use case: I want to prioritise stories for a given release. e.g. I have 20 stories and want to rank them 1-20.
Benefits:
- the ranking is more transparent to a larger audience than the ability to move stories on screen
- if another user changes the order I can see what was changed5 votes -
Allow for shared filters similar to how views are managed
Similar to how views can be shared across different Structures, it would be great if Quick Transformations could be the same. Right now, we have 15+ separate, but related Structures. All should have consistent views and transformations. Managing views is very simple, but if you change a filter on one Structure, you must replicate that change X more times.

Add Project Category
Structure recently added the ability to use "Status Category" as a column. As Categories can be pretty powerful tools, I would like to suggest bringing "Project Category" in as a column as well.
In addition to columns, the bigger need I have at the moment is to be able to "Group by" Project Category in the Automation options. I also noticed that Status Category is missing here as well, so I think it would be great to bring the existing work to the Automation section as well.

Progress by status category
Currently progress by status is supported(among other statuses).
To simplify configuration in complicated jira setups it would be nice if one could filter by status category. Instead or in combination.

Export Resource usage to excel, to generate shareable reports
I'd like to be able to share resource usage information with people not using jira.
Export to excel of the resource usage table could be useful.

Implement a 'Progress Bar' for the structures while they're uploading
Currently, there are no indicators of how long will it take to show up a structure and the 'spinning wheel' is showing up to several minutes (while uploading/reindexing a large number of tickets.
The progress bar will help to determine that the 'work in progress' and there are no issues/hangs during this process.1 vote -
Reverse hierarchy
For instance when looking on what a team (or singel dev) is working on. I would like to expand an issue and see what motivates it.
It is possible to do with normal link types but not with epic link and sub-ask-link
So what i want to do is to create a view from the perspective of a developer. follow parents and depends on deeper. Having the story as the first layer.
Story: Build a nice landing page
- Epic: make the onboarding and retention of new customers better (reverse epic link)
- Initiative: gett 1000 new customers (link)

Progress by TimeTracking original/remaining split
Use colour to show time remaining vs original estimate as in standard JIRA progress fields when using time for estimates

Could you please clarify it a little bit and share your use case? Do you want this progress bar to be split on estimated, remaining and logged separately as in standard Jira On-Premise? Or what would you like to see in this column actually? How are you going to use it?

removing a column sort is not easy. Make it simple.
Structure is sorted by Rank (through automation). I often click on Assignee column to sort by it. The only way to remove the sort is to click Transformation, Click the sort and click the remove. This is way too many steps to just remove a sort. One idea is to have each column have 3 states when clicked. Sort Ascending, Sort descending, Remove sort.

Ability to resize column widths on printable page
The column widths of the printable page are set by Structure and often ones with a lot of text (like Description or Comments) end up too wide. Would be great to be able to set widths before exporting

start date
As a team lead, I want the Gantt view to show all unresolved issues as starting in the future irrespective of the view's "start date", so I can quickly visualise dependencies between teams that will impact their next sprint

calculate % complete through today
Field that automatically calculates percent complete from task start date through current day.
Eg, if I opened the schedule today (Sept 30):
Task1: Sept 1 – Oct 31, 50%
Task2: Sept 1 – Sept 30, 100%
Task3: Oct 1 – Oct 31, 0%And opening the schedule on Oct 31, they would all show 100%

Structure of Structures - no data just an index with link to the relevant structure
I would like to create a Structure of Structures for structure navigation, whereby specific child elements allow you open the referenced structure. I have many structures that contain the same data, just displayed differently for different user groups.
The use case is in essence:
Parent - Folder (a name listing a group of similar or related structures)
Child - New Structure Link - simply a mechanism to either open or navigate to the referenced structure - includes description.Implementation:
