An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHi Mackenzie,
Thank you for your idea! And what about hierarchy, should we move the issue on the top/bottom of the whole structure?
According to "Cannot move" problem: it shows because you are trying to move generated rows, like search results. This problem can be resolved by adding special Manual sorter( Sort -> Manual Reordering), it will allow you to change the order manually. Thanks you!

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello,
It is possible to use root issue for each "sub-hierarchy". Let's say you have structure
IssueA
- IssueB
- Issue Cand no other issue on the same level with IssueA and would like to use the Issue A value. In this scenario you can create separate formula column, just to "get" the root value, with formula like "parent#depth=1{f}". (depth = 1 is the root level, if automation mode is switched off, f - you formula column A). But in this example, if you have other issue in stryucture, their root will be used, not IssueA.
Will it help? Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello,
thank you for suggestion! As far as I understand, you would like to change the time period for all columns in view settings, am I right? If yes, the period will be changed in all columns, so to compare months you will need to change the month again. Which scenario is more important for you?
Thanks!

Thank you for suggestion! We are going to implement custom item types, so you will be able to create new types of folders, with Summary and Description. Will it help? Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello Seth,
Thank you for your suggestion! There is no way to share column width so far because you can have different monitors and different window sizes, and Structure tries to autosize width for your window.
By the way, we are working on scrollable mode right now: it will be possible to add more columns without auto-sizing, the horizontal scroll will be shown. Will it help?Julia,

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello Matthias,
Thank you for your question! We already added aditional modifiers in the version 4.3: https://wiki.almworks.com/x/4w9KAg. Note, that there are several modifiersfor that aggregation: you can include the current row, can exclude it, can count leaves only (check #children, #leaves, #subtree). Will it helps?
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHi,
Thank you for detailed description! It's clear now, but not easy from technical perspective, we will check.
Please note, that if this data can be counted from your structure (perhaps based on other field), you can use Formula column (https://wiki.almworks.com/x/ILjrAQ), and results for the same items can be different regarding to the position in StructureJulia,
ALM Works teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello,
Thanks for sending us feedback! Am I right, that you would like to be able to define different comments for the same issue? We are going to add multiple Notes columns, so you would be able to add several Notes columns and type different text in it. Will it be helpful?
Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHi Jason,
We are working on custom item types right now. In the first implementation it will be something similar to folder, but with possibility to define description. Do you want to be able to add your own specific parameters?
Also we have Notes column (https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Notes+Column), you can add some comments for specific row (including folders) there.Thank you for idea!

Thank you for suggestion! It is under review
An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHi,
Thank you for your suggestion! We created a separate plugin, Colors for JIRA (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.almworks.jira.colors.colors-plugin/server/overview), which allows you to define JQL for highlighting issue key. It is a great idea to highlight also cells and columns, we will think about it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello Dominic,
In Structure version 2.8 we introduced the ‘Open’ button at the bottom of the Structure widget on Issue Page - clicking on it will open a structure in full. But this button isn’t shown if Structure widget is collapsed, so please tell us - does this functionality still meet your needs, considering the collapsed state limitation?

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello Simon,
I realized that the functionality from my previous answer doesn’t exactly meet your needs - grouping by issue links works the following way: when there is an issue in the structure that is linked to another issue as its child, adding a grouper by the specific link type will add the parent issue to the structure. Technically, it will be added as a group but it’s not going to effect how the hierarchy is displayed.
Although this is not the grouping you requested, perhaps this feature may be of use to you regardless.
Apologies for the initial confusion.

Grouping by Issue Links was introduced in Structure 3.5 version: https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Structure+3.5+Release+Notes
Please feel free to try it!

Thank you for your suggestion! I have passed this idea to our dev team and we’ll see if it’s doable.

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedHello Roisin,
In Structure 2.9 we introduced a second Structure panel. If an issue is clicked on in the structure, its Issue Details page will open on the right, making it possible to view or edit issues right in the structure.

An error occurred while saving the comment Structure Team commentedThanks for posting this idea!
Do you expect Structure on Project Page will be always filtered by the same JQL as a Board instead of a Project? Is it more convenient for you to use Project Page instead of Structure Board (https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Structure+Board)?
Note, that you can create Structure based on your Board using our Agile Inserter (https://wiki.almworks.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=32223422) or special template (Create Structure | Agile Structure)Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for a great idea! Actually, we are going to add possibility to define jira groups in the user drop-down menu, so you will be able to see hours spent by people from the specific group. According to sprints - good idea, you can use custom period now and define these dates manually.
Thank you!
